Anyone, anywhere can become a Member of The Holy Souls Crusade by sending us an email from the address below. 

Membership of the Holy Souls Crusade entails a committment to pray for the Holy Souls and the committment is left entirely up to the members themselves as to what they can give. Members of the Holy Souls Crusade are included in Masses for themselves, their families and extended families.

THE HOLY SOULS CRUSADE

All that is required to become a member of the Poor Souls Crusade, is as follows: 

1. To offer as many masses as possible during your lifetime for the Souls in Purgatory. 

2. To recite daily the prayer which our Lord gave to St. Gertrude, the Great Eternal Father, which is as follows: “I offer thee the most precious blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, those in my own home and within my family”. Amen. 

3. Other ways one can help the Holy Souls is the recital of the Holy Rosary with its great indulgences as an excellent means of helping the Holy Souls in Purgatory. Also one can set up a Holy Souls Crusade in the Parish. 

4. All members will be enrolled. 

5. Masses will be offered for all members of the Crusade (especially our departed members, their family, relatives and friends). 

6. What do the Holy Souls do for those who help them? St. Alphonsus Liquori says that although the Holy Souls cannot merit for themselves, they can obtain for us great graces, they are not, formally speaking, intercessors, as the saints are, but through the sweet providence of God, they can obtain for us astounding favours and deliver us from evil, sickness and dangers of every kind. So it is beyond doubt, that they will repay us a thousand times for anything we do for them. 

It is “Gods will” that we love one another, for love is one of the greatest commandments that Jesus gave us. Why not extend our love for our dear departed brothers and sisters in purgatory, who are often forgotten about, by offering masses for them. As a Crusade Member, you will help release thousands of Souls. By this Act, Jesus will reward you a hundred fold for you have achieved a great “Act of Love”. 

7. If you wish to send a donation, however large or small, it will be greatly appreciated. As it will help towards the printing/distribution of leaflets and other devotional items for the Holy Souls Crusade. Donations can be sent to:
