Garabandal in the Cantabrian Mountains of Northern Spain experienced alleged Marian Apparitions over a period of 4 years from 1961 to 1965, when it is reported, Our Blessed Lady appeared to 4 young village girls. It has been investigated by the Church and retains no official declaration of condemnation or approval, much like the status of Medjugorje. The local ordinary welcomes pilgrims and their Spiritual Directors to the village and the early ban on visiting pilgrim Priests was lifted in the early 1980's.

This little village has a close link with devotion for the Holy Souls in Purgatory, having a centuries-old tradition of hand bell-ringing at 6pm calling all to the Church to pray the Rosary for the Souls in Purgatory.

Our Pilgrimage takes in 7 nights in this most beautiful, unspoilt, tiny village of Garabandal which offers a time of prayer, reflection and relaxation. During our week we take 2 day trips - to Potes, the Picos de Europa and Santo Toribio, a most beautiful Franciscan Monastery in the mountains just outside of Potes; and also to Oviedo and Covadonga, a Marian Shrine of Devotion further west.
